Hit CD single SURF OHIO hits the airwaves with a party on July 17!

I’ve had this news under wraps, but now its finally time to announce it – the new hit single, SURF OHIO, by the Miss Molly Band will be released this Saturday in Columbus, and what a CD launch it will be! If you are anywhere near Central Ohio this weekend, head to the Woodlands Tavern, 1200 West Third Avenue in Grandview, where the Surf Ohio Party starts at 9 PM on Saturday, July 17.
Miss Molly and her awesomely eclectic band of fellow musicians were inspired to compose SURF OHIO after visiting this website and absorbing the History of Surf Ohio (on the ABOUT pages). I had a sneak listen when they came out of the studio with the finished product, and I can assure you, Brian Wilson would be proud – it’s a summer anthem if you’ve ever heard one, a total blast and the lyrics nail it!

Now, back to the CD party this Saturday – in addition to the Miss Molly Band, the show tropically rocks out with Red Royalty Steel Drums, The Bastard Sons of Neptune and more. The first 100 partiers to see Zach The Tall Dude at the Surf Ohio merch display will get a free logo sticker. Wear your Surf Ohio shirt, and he’ll probably give you two. We’ll post the photos as we get them.
