There will be sand… Ginormous Sand Sculpture returns to Festiki

Surf Ohio is proud to sponsor the return of The Sand Sculpting Company to Festiki 2010 on August 14th in Dayton. Sand sculptor extraordinaire, Ted Siebert, will arrive a couple of days early to start hand-crafting another 15-ton sand masterpiece at Old River Park that will be completed sometime during Festiki.
Last year Ted wowed us with his tiki hot-tub theme – a huge hit and a fave with photo buffs. We don’t yet know what he has in store for us this year, but you can bet it will be as spectacular as it is huge. Speaking of which, take a look at the accompanying photo of Ted’s work in Taiwan earlier this spring. That dude is off the chart!
